Overview
We developed a custom PCB integrating Wi-Fi 6 and a dedicated voice synthesis accelerator. StoryDragon listens to children's voice prompts and generates personalized, age-appropriate interactive audio adventure stories in real-time through cloud/local co-processing, while a facial LED matrix responds with dynamic expressions.
Hardware Design
A 6-layer HDI PCB houses an ESP32-S3 for connectivity, an i.MX RT1170 for local inference, and a custom LED driver matrix for the animated dragon face. The entire system fits within a 45mm diameter spherical core.
Generative AI Pipeline
Cloud-based story generation with local TTS synthesis achieves <1s end-to-end latency. A content safety filter ensures all generated narratives are appropriate for the target age group.
Results
The product generates truly infinite unique story paths, with each child's adventure history shaping future narratives. Parental dashboard shows engagement analytics.
