The DA14695's dedicated sensor node controller handles flow measurement during deep sleep. When flow is detected (>5mL/s), the main Cortex-M33 wakes, runs a volume integration algorithm, and updates the hydration log. A personalized hydration model adjusts daily targets based on local weather (fetched via phone), user activity (Apple Health/Google Fit sync), and sweat rate estimation.
