Product Concept & Architecture
The Dialog DA14697 BLE SoC was selected for industry-leading power efficiency. A BHI360 integrated IMU + sensor hub offloads motion processing from the main CPU. A 1.1-inch round AMOLED runs at 1Hz always-on. A 250mAh Li-Po battery fits in the 12mm-thick band module.
Engineering Solution
The DA14697's dedicated Sensor Node Controller continuously processes BHI360 data at 200Hz while the main Cortex-M33 sleeps. A TinyML gesture model (hand-wave to dismiss, wrist-twist to scroll, double-tap to select) runs entirely on the Sensor Node using 4KB of memory.

28-day real-world battery life. 95% gesture recognition accuracy. Always-on display consumes only 8µA average.
